Nintendo Switch Sales Hit New Highs in Latest Financial Report

Nintendo just shared its financial results for the first half of the 2026 27 fiscal year, and the numbers are quite interesting for fans. As of November 2026, the newer Switch 2 has reached 26.35 million units sold worldwide. Meanwhile, the original Nintendo Switch continues to be a massive success, reaching a total of 157.20 million units sold.

The data covers the six month period between April and September 2026. While the company saw lower revenue compared to last year, they actually reported a 49.1 percent increase in operating profit. This shows that the transition between console generations is staying healthy for the brand.
