Review: All The Truth In My Lies Is Perfectly Messy Drama

If you love stories about friend groups hitting their breaking point, All The Truth In My Lies is for you. Based on the novel by Elisabet Benavent, this five episode show follows a group of friends gathering for a bachelorette trip. As the wedding approaches, long standing secrets and messy romantic feelings come to the surface, making it difficult to look away from the screen.

The heart of the drama sits with roommates Coco and Marin. Despite their established boundary of keeping things platonic, the tension between them is impossible to ignore. Things get even more complicated thanks to Aroa, whose obsession with Marin creates a constant source of friction. While the chemistry between the leads is great, the other friends in the group mostly serve as witnesses to the central love triangle.

Watching this show feels like witnessing a train wreck in the best way possible.
