Final Fantasy Producer Praises Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Final Fantasy producer Yoshinori Kitase recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The game has been getting lots of attention for its visual style and gameplay mechanics that remind many players of the classic Final Fantasy era. Instead of feeling concerned about the similarities, Kitase expressed that he is very happy to see a new developer finding inspiration in his work.

During a recent appearance at Lucca Comics and Games, Kitase talked about how games often influence one another as the medium grows. It is clear he sees the development of new RPGs as a positive sign for the future of the genre. Hearing such kind words from a veteran like Kitase is a major win for the team at Sandfall Interactive.

Fans are excited to see how these influences shape the final experience when the game launches. It is always cool to see creators supporting the next generation of games. We look forward to seeing more of what Expedition 33 has to offer in the coming months.
