The Rings of Power Season 3 Trailer Teases Sauron and War

Prime Video just dropped the official trailer for the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Released on October 21, 2026, the preview gives fans a look at a much darker chapter for the epic fantasy series. Sauron is moving closer to forging the One Ring, and Middle earth is hurtling toward a massive war.

In the trailer, Galadriel warns that all of their struggles have led to this exact moment. The Dark Lord is preparing to completely consolidate his power while the free peoples of Middle earth try desperately to hold their ground against his advancing armies. The stakes have clearly never been higher for our favorite characters.

Fans can expect a heavy focus on the consequences of Sauron's deception as the story progresses. Keep your eyes open for more updates on the upcoming season as Prime Video gets ready to share additional details and an official premiere date.
