Nintendo Confirms Physical Games Are Here To Stay

Many fans have been worried about the gaming industry moving entirely toward digital downloads. Bill van Zyll, the Vice President of Nintendo for Latin America, recently shared that the company intends to keep offering physical games. He noted that Nintendo listens closely to what their players want, and there is still a massive demand for tangible copies.

This is a big relief for collectors and anyone who enjoys having a shelf full of game cases. While digital storefronts are growing more popular, many people still prefer the security and nostalgia that comes with owning a physical disc or cartridge. Nintendo is clearly keeping those players in mind as they plan for the future.

It is great to see a major company value the habits of its fanbase. For now, you can keep building your physical collection without worrying that your favorite hobby is going anywhere.
