Masashi Kishimoto Announces New Naruto Manga Shadow Rising

Masashi Kishimoto just dropped a major surprise for fans during the Naruto panel at New York Comic Con 2026. He officially announced a new project titled Shadow Rising. While the franchise has remained a staple in the community for years, this news marks a fresh chapter for the series.

The reveal came with a teaser video that showed some intriguing glimpses of familiar faces. Fans caught sight of Naruto serving as Hokage, Sakura caring for a baby, and even a tense moment between Naruto and Sasuke. These teases have already started a wave of speculation about what this story will actually cover.

Even though the announcement generated plenty of excitement, Kishimoto kept the specific details quiet for now. We do not have a set publication schedule or a clear confirmation on whether this will be a direct continuation or a side story. We are keeping a close watch for any updates on the plot and when we can finally get our hands on the first chapter.
