Marriagetoxin Season 2 Promises Bigger Action and New Rivals

During the Marriagetoxin Road to the Best Marriage panel at New York Comic Con 2026, the main production staff shared what is coming next for protagonist Hikaru Gero. Director Motonobu Hori, chief animation director and character designer Kohei Tokuoka, and Bandai Namco Filmworks chief producer Ryoya Arisawa all took the stage to talk about the show.

The team discussed the creative challenges they faced while making the first season and how those lessons will help them improve the sequel. Season 2 is set to raise the stakes significantly.
