Lilly Wachowski Says She’s Done With The Matrix 5

The Matrix franchise is looking to make a comeback, but it faces a major hurdle behind the scenes. Co creator Lilly Wachowski has shared that she is pretty much done with the series. However, the future of the fifth movie still heavily depends on her and her sister, Lana.

Director Drew Goddard is currently developing the next installment for Warner Bros. Even though Lilly wants to move on to other projects, Goddard reportedly does not want to move forward with the film without the blessing of the original creators. He is actively seeking the Wachowskis' approval for his new vision of the franchise.
