Hal and John Face Danger in Lanterns Episode 2

After the multi decade scope of the premiere, the second episode titled Trust Fall keeps things grounded in 2016. Hal Jordan and John Stewart are still in town investigating a tragic football game shooting that claimed several alien lives. While John heads off on a mission to retrieve a power lantern, Hal stays behind to investigate how four aliens were perfectly targeted among a crowd of humans. His investigation reveals that the local high school metal detector is actually an alien detection device.

Hal struggles with patience, ultimately deciding to take matters into his own hands by raiding the morgue and testing the detector himself. This leads to a tense confrontation at the Macon family ranch, where Hal is shot after trespassing on the property.
