Final Fantasy VII Revelation Aiming for Switch 2 Graphics

Big news for Final Fantasy fans. Director Naoki Hamaguchi recently shared that the team behind Final Fantasy VII Revelation is setting high goals for the next generation of Nintendo hardware. Even though developers often worry about technical limits, Square Enix intends to push the graphics of this new entry beyond what we saw in Rebirth.

The secret lies in better optimization. Hamaguchi noted that the experience the team gained while working on Rebirth will be applied to this project from the start. Instead of letting hardware specs dictate the scale of the game, the developers are focusing on smarter ways to present their vision on the upcoming console.

This is great news for players who enjoy high quality visuals on the go. By building on past lessons, the team hopes to deliver a polished experience that feels right at home on new hardware. We are excited to see how this technical focus shapes the final look of the game.
