DokeV Gets a New Development Push Ahead of 2028 Release

Fans of the vibrant open world game DokeV finally have a light at the end of the tunnel. Pearl Abyss confirmed they are shifting more staff members to the project to speed up development. This move comes after years of limited updates while the studio focused on other titles.

The studio now aims for a release window in the second half of 2028. This shift in resources follows the successful launch of Crimson Desert in March 2026, which previously took up most of the team's attention and time.

It has been a long wait for those interested in the colorful creature collecting adventure, which was first announced back in 2019. With the team now fully settled on this project, we can look forward to more consistent updates as the new launch date approaches.
