His agency announced the news on October 20 and shared that a private funeral has already taken place. Per the wishes of his family, the services were held in a small, intimate setting.

Born in Tokyo in 1972, Tsuchida had a long and impressive career in the industry. Beyond his work in Attack on Titan, he was a regular face and voice in Japanese animation, live action productions, and dubbing work. He was a veteran performer who spent decades sharing his craft with fans around the globe.
