Ace Combat 8 Prequel Hour Zero Announced with Star Cast

Fans of high altitude dogfights have something special to look forward to. Bandai Namco just announced a four part live action series titled HOUR ZERO. This project serves as a direct prequel to the upcoming game ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE.

The series features an impressive cast including Josh Holloway, Brandon Routh, and Tamlyn Tomita. These episodes focus on the emotional human stories behind the massive conflict that kicks off the events of the new game.

The first installment is scheduled to debut on September 15, 2026. The remaining parts will follow shortly after to build anticipation before the game launches. It is a great way for players to understand the stakes of the story before they jump into the cockpit.
